Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how App Lock ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. App Lock is an application that lets you protect other apps on your device with a PIN, pattern, or biometric lock. Your privacy is important to us, and we have built App Lock to work with as little personal data as possible.

Information We Collect

App Lock is designed to run locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, or contacts.

• Lock settings & PIN/pattern: Stored only on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
• List of locked apps: Kept locally on your device to enforce your chosen locks.
• Device & usage permissions: Used solely to detect which app is in the foreground so the lock screen can be shown when needed.

Permissions We Use

• Usage Access: To identify the currently running app and lock it.
• Draw over other apps (Overlay): To display the lock screen on top of protected apps.
• Biometric / Fingerprint: To allow unlocking with your device's biometric hardware (processed by the operating system, never stored by us).

Advertising

App Lock may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as an advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. This data is processed by Google in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more in Google's Advertising Policy.

The app may use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Data Security

Because your lock credentials and settings are stored locally, they remain under your control on your device. We recommend keeping your device secured and up to date.

App Lock is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
